De’Morion Tayshawn Daniels Death – Following a shooting at Albany State University’s (ASU) East Campus, six people have been shot, one of whom is dead. Michael Fowler of Dougherty County Corner identified the deceased as De’Morion Tayshawn Daniels, a 19-year-old Atlanta resident. According to the report, Daniels passed away in Phoebe Hospital from his wounds.
To put together what transpired, several agencies are working. Radium Springs is currently closed, and traffic is being rerouted. Michael Persley, the chief of police in Albany, stated that they are unsure of the reason behind the shooting. The identity of the suspect or suspects is yet unknown. Although the exact location of the gunfire is still unknown, we do know it was close to the Student Union.
The Student Union on the East Campus provided medical care for a few victims. Among the five additional victims are: A 13-year-old Albany girl was shot and wounded. One of the local high school students, a 17-year-old girl, was shot. One of the local high school students, a 16-year-old girl, was shot. A bullet grazed the skin of a 20-year-old female. On the scene is the Georiga Bureau of Investigation.
