Well-known sports anchor for KTIV, Brad Pautsch of Sioux City, Iowa has passed away. He died on Saturday, October 19th, 2024. He was announced dead in a social media statement that read “We are saddened to hear about the passing of Brad Pautsch. He was an outstanding sports anchor for KTIV but a better person. Please keep his family in your prayers.”

Brad passed suddenly on Saturday, October 19, at 10:30 in the morning, as stated in a family statement. On October 9, following a new diagnosis due to symptoms and declining ability, he arrived at hospice. When he got home, he was incredibly at ease and loved having his family around. He received a lot of texts, calls, and visits. He was an incredible man who bravely overcame a difficult diagnosis and never voiced any complaints.

Brad Pautsch was a native of Early, Iowa, and an alumnus of Crestland High School. He attended the Iowa State University. He was married to Sally Eckman Pautsch
