On Saturday evening, a Walmart in Halifax, Nova Scotia, was the location of a tragic death that is currently being investigated by the Halifax Regional Police. Walmart has not yet disclosed any information regarding the circumstances surrounding the death; however, in a statement released on Sunday, the company suggested that the individual who passed away was an employee.
Just before midnight, the police issued a statement regarding the fatal incident that occurred at the store located on Mumford Road. At the store 3636, there has been a death that has been reported to have occurred as a result of a walk-in oven. It was not disclosed how the individual passed away.
During the time that the inquiry is being carried out, the store is closed, and the police are recommending that people keep away from the place. A number of police cars were still there at the location on Sunday morning; but, as of the early afternoon, the authorities had not supplied any additional information. During at least the entirety of Sunday, the retail establishment will not be open to customers.
